Airbourne Colours was founded in 2010 and has rapidly gained an industry-leading reputation for quality in aircraft painting and refinishing with an extensive client list of aircraft operators worldwide.
With two narrow body paint facilities at East Midlands Airport, capable of accommodating aircraft up to Airbus A321/B737 MAX 10 sized aircraft and due to increasing demand for their services in both the commercial and business jet sector in 2022, the company expanded with the opening of a further paint facility at Exeter Airport in the UK. This additional paint facility is targeted at the smaller business and commercial jet market and can accommodate aircraft types up to ATR 72.
Furthermore, in Q4 2024, Airbourne Colours continues to expand with the opening of a brand new paint facility at Teesside International Airport tailored to accommodate aircraft up to Airbus A321/Boeing 737 MAX 10. This strategic expansion not only augments our operational capacity but also brings valuable additional resources to the aviation industry.
The company understands its client’s need to protect their assets and enhance their brand whilst limiting downtime to maximise efficiencies in the paint programme. The painting process is managed and executed by a team of highly trained and experienced aircraft painters using conventional high solids and basecoat, clear coat technologies.
In addition to our fixed base specialised aircraft painting services in the UK, we offer a global network of engineering support teams to undertake paint refinishing work on customer sites, including adaptions to existing liveries and decal applications.
We also have a state-of-the-art Graphics department capable of producing all the paint masks, livery and technical markings for both our in-house requirements and external customers.
