A320 painting programme for Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines A320 departs the Airbourne Colours hangar at East Midlands Airport following a full livery repaint.
Airbourne Colours, a leading aircraft painting and refinishing specialist, is proud to announce a new partnership with Austrian Airlines to deliver a comprehensive painting programme for the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet.
The agreement will see ten aircraft repainted at Airbourne Colours’ East Midlands Airport paint facility, marking a dynamic start to 2026 for the company’s aircraft painting services.
The programme is already underway, with a series of back-to-back aircraft inputs ensuring a full and busy opening quarter for the Airbourne team. This project further strengthens Airbourne Colours’ reputation as a trusted partner to leading international carriers, with a clear understanding of customer needs to protect their assets and enhance their brand whilst limiting downtimes.
“We’re delighted to welcome Austrian Airlines to our growing portfolio of European airline customers,” said Simon Cracknell, Sales & Marketing Director of Airbourne Colours. “Starting the year with such a high-profile programme underlines the confidence our partners have in our capabilities and commitment to excellence.”
In addition to its East Midlands base, Airbourne Colours also operates two dedicated paint hangars at Teesside International Airport, following the opening of a second facility in November 2025. Together, these sites reinforce the company’s position as a leading independent aircraft painting provider in the UK.
