A Masterpiece by Airbourne Colours
In a remarkable collaboration between Airbourne Colours and Brussels Airlines, the skies have welcomed the newest Belgian Icon, ‘Amare’, adorned with a Tomorrowland livery symbolizing unity worldwide.
Airbourne Colours, renowned for its expertise in aircraft painting, brought Amare to life at its East Midlands paint facility in the UK. Following 17 days and nights of meticulous work, requiring 1,900 man-hours and over 550 litres of paint, this brand-new Airbus A320neo emerged as a true masterpiece.
Amare stands for unity, love, and friendship and was created as an ode to Tomorrowland, the world’s most iconic festival, which takes place in the Belgian town of Boom. Its goal is to bring people together to create new friendships and discover new adventures.
Amare’s design is a world premiere: it is the first aircraft to feature augmented reality in its livery. The bird on the livery comes to life when scanned through specific social media channels such as Instagram and TikTok, adding a new dimension to the aviation experience.
Congratulations to everyone involved, including our highly skilled painting team for their expertise, Aerospace Engineering Solutions for Part 21J livery drawings, Mankiewicz Aviation Coatings, and the magnificent work by Aircraft Styles André Eisele.
